A while lot of other things Mr. Welch can no longer do during an RPG

But I have to disagree with

33. There is no such skill as ‘improvised cooking’

Of course there is. It defaults off poisons, every body knows that!

Added 12 April 2011:

While preparing to move these posts to the new WordPress site from Live Spaces, I shared the link out on Twitter, and my friend and long-time gaming companion Erynn Laurie and I spent a couple of hours going over just how many of these our gaming group has actually pulled over the 20+ years we’ve been gaming together.

I also found, in comments to the original LiveJournal link another such list. Enjoy!!

About Weregamer

"Weregaming: a term Ashleigh created circa 1976 when the gaming group at the Defense Language Institute was looking for a name for their unofficial organization. There was already a wargaming group, who focused on SPI's games such as War in Europe, War in the East, War in the West, and War in the Pacific (among many others, but you can grasp the concept). As "our" group focused on the newly emerging Role-Play Gaming, epitomized by TSR's Dungeons & Dragons, I called the bunch were-gamers. Clever pun, yes? No? Ah, well."
